AXA seeks young talented Saudis
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 17 - 12 - 2013

AXA, which operates as AXA Cooperative in Saudi Arabia, has launched an Employee Branding Campaign which offers world-class opportunities for talented Saudi citizens in the country.
The campaign is aimed at tapping into competent citizen talent in KSA and highlighting to prospective candidates the outstanding advantages of being part of the leading number one insurance brand in the world. The objective of the campaign is to educate the student and graduate community as to why they should choose AXA Cooperative as a preferred employer; educate them about the business of the company and update them about the open, friendly and multicultural work environment within the company.
The campaign is centered on educating the Saudi citizens on the skills and values that can be gained from a career in insurance, including stability, variety, recognition, advancement, challenge, personal satisfaction and growth.
To reinforce this message and encourage more Saudi citizens to be part of the team, AXA Cooperative will be conducting presentations at different universities within KSA during the next few weeks.
Through this campaign, AXA Cooperative is targeting local university students, fresh graduates and job seekers by elaborating the world-renowned AXA standards and values across four pillars – global brand, innovative products and quality of service, open work environment and empowerment.
AXA Cooperative recognizes the important role that employees play in the success of the company and thus encourages the right systems and offers excellent growth opportunities for vibrant, innovative applicants – helping them build a career based on strong values.
Gary Lewin, AXA Cooperative CEO, said “AXA helps its clients live more confidently each day, by protecting them, their families and their property against risks and by managing their savings and assets. Because every day is different, we support our customers as they face life's problems, big and small, empowering them to take on projects and prepare for the future with more peace of mind.”
The campaign features existing AXA Cooperative employees talking about what makes AXA a great place to work. Through various medium, including advertisements, online banners, videos, posters, danglers and brochures, AXA Cooperative employees will reinforce core message: “Discover a company that fulfils your ambitions.”
The campaign also highlights the diverse job areas and learning opportunities offered at AXA Cooperative, including communications & corporate responsibility, finance, HR, IT, internal audit, legal & compliance, marketing, operational excellence, product development, risk management, sales & distribution, underwriting as well as strategy & business development, among others.
“AXA is a world-renowned industry brand and we want to attract the most talented citizen across KSA. In order to achieve our ambition to become the preferred employer we need change agents; individuals who really make a difference and who put our customers at the heart of everything they do. We are not only targeting the citizen talents to join us but also looking at ways to build their skill sets and expertise through robust Learning and Development career plans to enable them to become successful contributors to the insurance business,” said Jérôme Droesch, AXA Cooperative chairman. — SG
