Daikin, the global number 1 air conditioning manufacturer, has established Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia LLC in a joint venture with “RIRAC”, a Saudi joint company between Rajhi Holdings and AlMutlaq Group conglomerates. The business operations will commence this month. Daikin is the Japanese global leader, innovator and provider of advanced air conditioning solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. In establishing Saudi Arabia affiliate, Daikin is aiming to directly support all business operations, increase its market share, and promote new product developments and technologies. Daikin's strategy is to build a solid sales network that utilizes a wide-ranging product lineup developed for the Kingdom's high ambient conditions, and comply with SASO regulations and comprehensive after sales services. Partnering with Rajhi Holdings and AlMutlaq Group will support Daikin with their strong business channels. Daikin will also bring its worldwide expertise in residential, commercial and large-scale infrastructure markets and integrate within their expertise in doing business in the Kingdom. Hiroshi Shimada, General Manager of Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia, said “Daikin has been accelerating the strengthening of its sales and service capabilities, such as in the development of sales affiliates cultivated in each region of the world, transfer of sales know-how, and new establishment of training centers”.
