ST. LOUIS — Corey Perry scored his team-high 18th goal and rookie Frederik Andersen made 26 saves to lead Anaheim over St. Louis 5-2 in their NHL game Saturday. Anaheim won its second in a row, after beating defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago 3-2 in a shootout Friday. St. Louis lost for the third time in four games and fell to 12-2-2 at home. Ryan Getzlaf, Andrew Cogliano, Nick Bonino and Mark Fistric also scored for the Ducks, who had not won in regulation in their previous eight trips to St. Louis. Getzlaf, who also added an assist, has a point in his last 13 games. He has 10 goals and 10 assists during that span. Getzlaf missed three games in November with an injury and has a point in his team's past 11 games, the longest current run in the NHL. Andersen, who won his first six starts, improved to 8-1 with his second successive victory. He leads all rookie goalies in wins. Jaden Schwartz and Patrik Berglund scored third-period goals for St. Louis, which had won five straight home games. Canadiens 3, Sabres 2: Tomas Plekanec and Brandon Prust each had a goal and an assist to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Devils 4, Rangers 3 (OT): Defenseman Eric Gelinas' power-play goal 1:15 into overtime powered the New Jersey Devils to a 4-3 win over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Panthers 2, Red Wings 1: Jonathan Huberdeau's goal early in the third period broke a tie and gave the Florida Panthers a 2-1 come-from-behind win over the Detroit Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena. Capitals 5, Predators 2: Captain Alex Ovechkin extended his lead in the NHL's goal-scoring race (22) and rookie defenseman Nate Schmidt scored his first NHL goal to lead the Washington Capitals to a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators. Jets 2, Lightning 1 (OT): Mark Scheifele wasted little time, scoring the game-winner just 1:04 into overtime as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1. Stars 5, Flyers 1: Tyler Seguin had not scored since his four goals in a 7-3 win at Calgary on Nov. 14 but the Dallas Stars center ended that six-game drought in dramatic fashion, delivering his third career hat-trick in a 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
