DALLAS: The Vancouver Canucks prevailed in a clash of NHL divisional leaders, beating the Dallas Stars 4-1 Friday to notch a fourth straight win. Daniel and Henrik Sedin scored power-play goals and Cory Schneider made 44 saves for the Canucks. Daniel Sedin and Raffi Torres had goals in a 47-second span late in the first period, and Vancouver went on to improve to 13-1-2 in its past 16 games, 6-0-1 on the road during that stretch. Kevin Bieksa added a power-play goal for the Canucks. Brenden Morrow had a power-play goal for Dallas. Ducks 5, Flyers 2: In Anaheim, Jason Blake and defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky each scored two goals as Anaheim beat Philadelphia. Jonas Hiller made 35 saves while Bobby Ryan also scored for the Ducks, who began a six-game homestand. Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf missed the game because of multiple nasal fractures after getting hit in the forehead by a deflected slap shot Tuesday at Phoenix. Andreas Nodl and Jeff Carter scored for Philadelphia. Blues 4, Coyotes 3: In St. Louis, the hosts won their fifth straight game, holding off Phoenix. Alex Steen had a goal and an assist, Jaroslav Halak stopped 30 shots, while Brad Boyes, Erik Johnson and Alex Pietrangelo added goals to give the Blues a 4-0 lead early in the third period. Phoenix's Shane Doan had two goals, the first in the third period to end Halak's shutout streak at 129 minutes, 29 seconds. Lauri Korpikoski also scored for the Coyotes. Flames 3, Avalanche 2: In Calgary, the home team made it three straight wins by edging Colorado. Tom Kostopoulos, Jarome Iginla and Tim Jackman scored in a 7:30 span in the second period and that was enough to win. Daniel Winnik and Tomas Fleischmann had third-period goals for the Avalanche. Parenteau scored on a power play at 3:57 of overtime to give New York victory over Western Conference-leading Detroit. Blue Jackets 4, Senators 3, OT: In Columbus, Jake Voracek scored a lucky overtime winner, capping his return after being dropped, and helping Columbus edge Ottawa. Canadiens 3, Panthers 2, OT: In Sunrise, Florida, Montreal newcomer James Wisniewski scored his second goal of the game 3:41 into overtime Montreal a comeback victory over Florida. Devils 3, Thrashers 1: In Newark, New Jersey, the hosts snapped a six-game losing streak and gave interim coach Jacques Lemire his first win by beating Atlanta. Lemaire lost his first three games after taking over for the fired John MacLean.
