Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh closes customer appreciation week
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 11 - 2013

The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh wrapped up a highly successful Global Customer Appreciation Week, with an exclusive event for its top clients and patrons. The hotel also organized a massive collection drive for warm clothing as part of its Community Footprints initiative.
Global Customer Appreciation Week by the Ritz-Carlton gives the ladies and gentlemen of the hotel a unique opportunity to express their appreciation for the support and continued patronage of their top clients, both internationally and from the local community.
This year, the hotel welcomed and thanked all the guests with tokens of gratitude, including special handmade chocolates as well as personalized notes by the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh General Manager, Adel Mahboob. The property was adorned with “Thank You' signs, ensuring that each and every visitor was thanked for their support of the property,
In addition to inviting local partners and bookers to the hotel for a first of its kind outdoor event, team members representing every department also participated in a citywide series of visits, taking the legendary Ritz-Carlton service directly to client offices and local associations.

The grand finale of the week-long series of activities was a gala event, which took place at an outdoor terrace overlooking the hotel's beautiful rolling landscape. The event carried the theme of ‘Thank You', with the guests greeted by this phrase on large sculpture as they entered via a red carpet entrance. As a souvenir from the Ladies and Gentlemen, guests were also given professional photos of themselves on the red carpet.
In addition to the glamorous event and on-site activity, the hotel also collected clothes for a donation drive in aid of Al-Birr Charity. Over 600 items of clothing were collected, cleaned, and packaged for the organization. With the weather beginning to cool, the drive was focused on collecting warm clothing for those in need.
“The Global Customer Appreciation week is one of the Ritz-Carlton's cultural cornerstones. It is recognizing the importance of building and maintaining long term relationships with our valued clients and guests,” said Adel Almahboob, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh. — SG
