PHILADELPHIA — Claude Giroux snapped a 21-game drought with his first goal of the season, Steve Mason made 22 saves and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2.
Vincent Lecavalier and Jay Rosehill and Scott Hartnell also scored for Philadelphia (5-10-1).
Taylor Hall and David Perron had goals for Edmonton (4-12-2).
Senators 3, Panthers 2: Ottawa's second string goalie Robin Lehner won his third game in a row, stopping 26 shots to beat the Panthers 3-2 and spoil the NHL debut of Florida coach Peter Horachek.
The loss was the eighth in a row for the Panthers, who gave Horachek the job when they fired Kevin Dineen on Friday.
The Senators improved to 7-6-4 with the victory, while Florida are now 3-10-4.
Blue Jackets 5, Islanders 2: Brandon Dubinsky had his first three-point game in three seasons and Ryan Johansen had the first three-point game of his career as the Blue Jackets posted a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders.
Dubinsky and Johansen each had a goal and an assist, and R.J. Umberger deflected in the winning goal early in the third period.
Cam Atkinson and James Wisniewski also scored for the Jackets, who avoided their first six-game regulation losing streak since early in the 2006-07 season.
Lightning 3, Red Wings 2 (overtime): Teddy Purcell's goal with 1:09 left in overtime gave the Tampa Bay Lightning a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
Ryan Malone and Steven Stamkos also scored for Tampa Bay (12-4-0). Ben Bishop stopped 25 shots.
Henrik Zetterberg scored both goals for Detroit (9-5-4), who lost their fifth straight at home. Jimmy Howard made 31 saves.
Wild 3, Hurricanes 2 (SO): Zach Parise, Mikko Koivu and Jason Pominville all scored in the shootout as the Minnesota Wild beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 to win in Raleigh for the first time.
Bruins 3, Maple Leafs 1: Boston's Patrice Bergeron scored his team's second power-play goal of the night early in the third period and goaltender Tuukka Rask turned aside 33 shots to lead the Bruins to a 3-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Blackhawks 5, Stars 2: Patrick Sharp had four assists, Marian Hossa two goals and Jonathan Toews a goal and an assist for the Chicago Blackhawks in a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars.
Blues 2, Penguins 1: The St. Louis Blues scored a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins with defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk getting the winner, his first goal of the season.
