9 hurt in highway pile-up

Nine people were seriously injured in a three-car pile-up on a highway linking Rejal Al-Maa and Mahayil Asir on Friday. The driver of one of the cars lost control and crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle. A third car crashed into the vehicles as the driver could not stop in time. All the injured were rushed to hospital and are listed in critical condition. — Okaz photo
