ABHA — Three young men sustained severe injuries after their car crashed into a lamppost in a highway near Mahayel Asir. Traffic officers said the driver was traveling at high speed before losing control and hitting the lamppost. Their car was literally split into two halves. They were rushed to the hospital and remain in critical condition. Meanwhile, a 48-year-old Burmese male was run over by a speeding car in Al-Hada while he was trying to cross a street. He had been on his way to perform Umrah when he was hit by the car driven by a young Saudi.
