An Indonesian housemaid in her 30s was saved by medics after she slit her wrists in an apparent suicide attempt. A medical team at An-Noor Hospital in Makkah came to the aid of the maid in Al-Kakiyah District where she lived and worked for her sponsor who she said had abused her, an accusation which he denied. Major Abdul Mohsin Al-Maiman, spokesman for Makkah Police, said investigations were continuing. – Okaz __
