DAWADMI — The head of the Red Crescent operations in Makkah said they are able to offer help in six different languages. Ahmad Al-Sarawani said the Red Crescent preparations for Haj have been ongoing for more than a month. Equipment was inspected and maintained and communication means were linked to other medical service centers. Al-Sarawani said more than 160 personnel are working around the clock to serve the pilgrims, preparing to leave for Mina. He said the operation room has translators who speak six languages to communicate with non-Arabic speaking pilgrims. Experienced personnel, in addition to volunteer doctors and specialists, control the operation room. All staff are aware of the importance of their work and have the necessary experience to conduct their work efficiently.
