With regard to the letter “Expatriates are not angels” (Sep. 26), we should not forget that there are many crimes committed by Saudis against expats, namely housemaids, and other employees who are either abused or not paid their wages. Expats are at the mercy of Saudis, and many of these crimes are reported in the press. Crimes in Saudi Arabia are, therefore, committed by a cross section of society, just like in any other country.
