JEDDAH — Earlier this year, a workshop dubbed “Jeddah Hip Hop Jam” took place here for young Saudi musicians. It was helmed by Saudi Hip Hop artist Qusai a.k.a Don Legend the Kamelion and the internationally renowned German Hip Hop artist Max Herre, where they also produced a song together and presented it as at a concert. This “Robert Bosch Cultural Manager project” at the German Consulate General succeeded in enhancing the cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Germany. On Wednesday, September 25, for the first time ever Saudi-German Hip Hop song “From Berlin to Jeddah” will be released on YouTube among others. This Saudi-German cultural project has been realized by the German Consulate General in Jeddah, the Robert Bosch Stiftung, and the Goethe-Institut, in collaboration with Universal Legends Entertainment. — SG
