Faiz Al-Najdi Saudi Gazette RIYADH — The Ministry of Culture and Information is holding a photo exhibition of Saudi culture and heritage at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh on the occasion of the National Day. Emir of Riyadh Prince Khalid Bin Bandar is expected to inaugurate the exhibition. Among the exhibits will be about 130 rare and historic pictures of King Abdulaziz. These pictures are from the personal collection of Manzoor Ahmed, a Pakistani photographer who has been working with the Saudi Press Agency for 35 years. Speaking with Saudi Gazette, Ahmed said he had captured several pictures of Saudi leaders during official meetings and travel abroad. They include picture of King Khalid, King Fahd and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. He also took pictures of Crown Prince Sultan, Crown Prince Naif and the present Crown Prince Salman. A large number of Saudis and expatriates are expected to visit the exhibition, which is open to all. The inauguration will take place at 8.30 p.m. Monday and the exhibition will be open for visitors the next four days. The entry will be free of charge.
