I agree with letter writer Joseph Malco (Changes our ways, Sept. 2) in response to the article "Hidden Saher cameras nail speeding drivers on EP road" that instead of blaming Saher and destroying its facilities people who are fond of speeding should change their ways. Ever since the implementation of the Saher program, I have noticed that traffic accidents and deaths caused by them have dropped dramatically. The government has done an excellent job with the system thus far. Saher is one of the best things to happen in Saudi Arabia. The only ones who dislike the system are the law breakers — people who put not only their own lives in danger but also the lives of everyone else. Mike, Online response II. So much for secret cameras. What is required is strict implementation of traffic rules; we need more undercover cops and traffic police on the roads. Usama Khan, Online response III. Why hide those cameras? Some people driving their car are covering their plate number with tapes. Police should be on the streets to arrest people who violate traffic rules. Ahmed, Online response IV. Cameras should not be there to punish anyone. They should be there to save lives. Monk, Online response
