MUMBAI — “Chennai Express,” starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, has become the highest-grosser in Bollywood, reaping a whopping RS200 crore. Khan, thrilled with the success of the film, said: “ A film like this makes his over two decade journey in Bollywood, and made all the good and bad times he has faced worth it.” He added: “When the film released and by Monday, Tuesday when we all got to know how is it doing and the reaction of the audiences, that made me feel that the years have spent in the industry have proved successful,” the 47-year-old said. Known for playing romantic roles, Khan was seen in a different avatar in “Chennai Express,” doing some over-the-top action stunts and loud comedy, according to hindustantimes.com. “I am an actor and before films, I was in theaters.
