JEDDAH – Jeddah Mayor Hani Aburas recently launched his personal Twitter account at @HMaburas, making him the first mayor in a Saudi city to the join the popular micro-blogging site. Aburas has a Facebook account as well. The general public can use both accounts to contact the mayor. The mayor will use his Twitter account to provide information about ongoing and completed projects in the city. He recently tweeted about ongoing projects and answered some questions posed by the public.
