This refers to the article "Indonesian Muslim clerics lash out at Miss World" (Aug. 24). To be held in Indonesia?
I'm shocked. Muslim religious officials were rightly concerned. This is provocative issue that could draw sharp reaction from concerned Muslims who could hold protests that may turn violent.
I hope good sense will prevail and the contest is shifted to another country.
