BEIRUT — Nawal Al Zoghbi's concert attracted a huge number of fans at the L'Royale Hotel in Beirut. According o the event organizers, the immensely successful concert was way beyond their expectations. Infact, it has been reported by some Arabic daily newspapers that Al Zoghbi's concert was one of the top Eid El Fitr concerts. The songstress enthralled the vociferous crowd by belting out some of her popular renditions in addition to songs by the late legendary Algerian singer Warda and the classic Umm Kulthum. She is also gearing up for her new album, which she hopes will top the music charts in the Arab world. — SG
