Lebanese female singers have been embroiled in a bitter war of words over many issues. However, Nancy Ajram has denied recent circulating rumors published in the Egyptian newspaper that she was dissatisfied with the quality of the latest music album “Ma Fi Noum” (There is no sleep) by Najwa Karam and had criticized the music video released with the album saying it was poorly done. The newspaper had published that Nancy said Najwa's 3D music video was pointless because not everyone has the technology to watch 3D videos in their homes and considered creating such a video is a waste of time. The newspaper had also wrote that Najwa had answered Nancy back saying that Nancy is not well educated and is no position to make such kind of criticism. Nancy stressed that she never made any public comment regarding Najwa or her album and video clip and the lies published are an attempt to ruin the good relationship she has with Najwa. She added that such attempts are useless because it is not her nature to talk ill of anyone and she respects all her friends in the entertainment world. Najwa Karam is at the top of the “Mega Stores” list with the best Arabic album for the sixth week consecutively. Her album “El Leila Mafi Nom” is at the top among 20 others, followed by Assi El Helani's album “Rohak Ana” for many weeks. Nancy Ajram comes in third with “Nancy 7” produced by “Arabica Music My Life”. She is followed by Fayrouz with “Eh Fi Amal” produced by Fayrouz Productions. Lebanese singer Nawal El Zoghby is out of the top 20 list with her album “Maarafsh Layh” - for the first time since it was released.
