Saudi Gazette report QATIF – Over 450 employees of Al-Qatif municipality have complained about the delay in payment of their salaries for the month of Ramadan. The employees said their salaries have not been deposited in their accounts, something which has denied their families the chance to shop for Eid Al-Fitr and meet their financial commitments, Al-Yaum Arabic daily reported Monday. Some of the municipality employees blamed the concerned authority in the municipality for the delay. Several of the employees called on the officials concerned to speedily deposit their salaries into their accounts, like their colleagues in other government departments. A number of the employees said they went to the municipality, which they said did not give a convincing reply on the causes of the delay.
