QURAYYAT – Traffic police officers in Qurayyat had to open fire on a young man who refused to pull over. The young man was drifting with his car and pulling off some stunts in a neighborhood in complete disregard for the safety of people. He was reported to the police and officers had to chase him as he would not stop. While running away, he hit several cars that were parked on streets and then he went off on to the highway. An officer shot at the car and injured the young man. Meanwhile, a police officer has been detained in Qurayyat after he opened fire on a man who refused to pull over, according to Al-Jouf police spokesman Col. Daman Al-Daran. The man removed license plates from his car in order to evade Saher cameras and was traveling at high speed. The officer signaled him to stop but he kept on driving. The man was shot in the hand and was taken to hospital.
