The article "4,989 cans of Similac Gain Plus infant milk powder to be destroyed" (Aug. 6) raises some questions. One is, what is the SFDA waiting for before it bans dairies coming from New Zealand? At the start of 2013, the SFDA banned the import of Brazilian meat for one case of mad cow disease that had been detected in one state. Will the SFDA ban New Zealand dairy items and when?
