With reference to the article “Twitter please for salary hikes” by Khaled Al-Sulaiman (June 22), the tremendous gap between the salaries of Saudis and expatriates doing the same job should be narrowed. Saudis are generally paid three to four times higher than their Asian counterparts doing the same job in the same place. Expatriates do not get pension but a small amount for end-of-service benefits, if they are given at all. Just a little respect for the dignity of work and workers. Anonymous, Online response
