Melasma and its treatments

Melasma is a tan or dark skin discoloration. Although it can affect anyone, Melasma is particularly common in women and tends to affect people of Asians origin and features out with clear edges.
Melasma have three clinical forms by positioning:
Central (located in the center of the face)
Cheeks
Lower jaw
The first and second subtype affect the vast majority of people, as patients may also resides on the forearms.
The symptoms of Melasma are dark, irregular well demarcated hyper pigmented macules to patches commonly found on the upper cheek, nose, lips, upper lip, and forehead.
These patches often develop gradually over time. Melasma does not cause any other symptoms beyond the cosmetic discoloration. Melasma is also common in pre-menopausal women. It is thought to be enhanced by surges in certain hormones.
There is another type of costs seen in the context of other glandular disorders, which is classified into superficial (urticarial) and deep (dermal) by melanin placed in the skin, but the majority of cases found where it is mixed (urticarial + dermal).
Melasma can be easily treated with the regular use of OBAGI Creams and Peeling system. It is also helpful and very effective in treating other skin pigmentation problems following risk of acne, eczema or other skin infections as well as for the treatment of pigmentation in the knees, elbows and other parts of the body.
Blue Peel can also be used in the event of pigmentation. Blue peel contains TCA, which is the most essential element; however it is characterized by a high degree of safety as it depends on the doctor the ability to control depth of Peel and its homogenized distribution on the treated area.
The blue material in the Peel controls and determines the depth of penetration in the skin and gives the desired results without side effects. The Peel is available in several concentrations (15%, 20%) to be applied according the quality of the skin can be used on any part of the body.
There are also other types of peels like Blue Peel Radiance with a transparent color, which consists of different acids used for surface discoloration and to give freshness to the skin.
