In response to the Op Ed “It's the economy, stupid!” (July 6), I wonder if it really is the economy that it behind it all or is it perhaps that some nations cannot deal with democracy, cannot protest in peace, cannot compromise and cannot build bridges to close divisions among different groups in society. Perhaps those nations like to blame others for their own misery. The truth sometimes hurts, doesn't it? Bravo, Online response
