The report "Saudi experts expect an end to expat monopoly" (June 20) describes a very interesting study by economists. However, it is not true that expatriates are running business monopolies in the Kingdom. Instead, it is the enterprising ability of expatriates which is driving the Saudi economy. In turn expatriates pay exorbitant rent to Saudis who are the beneficiaries. Some Saudis are making millions by renting out buildings in major cities. Please first as a role model, start a project which is completely designed, staffed, and managed by Saudis before venturing onto the national level. Well wisher, Online response
