Badea Abu Al-Naja Saudi Gazette MAKKAH — An Ethiopian national on Tuesday stabbed a compatriot to death following a dispute over scrap iron. Both of them were illegal workers in the Kingdom. Lt. Col. Abdul Mohsen Al-Maiman, spokesman of Makkah Police, said a massive manhunt has been launched to nab the culprit who fled after committing the crime. According to Al-Maiman, the two Ethiopians had a dispute over collecting scrap iron from the debris of buildings demolished in the ongoing expansion works of the northern courtyard of the Grand Mosque. The enraged Ethiopian knifed his compatriot who died instantly. The body of the Ethiopian, who was in his 30s, was taken to the mortuary of King Faisal Hospital in Shisha, the spokesman added.
