Sultan Al-Sughair Saudi Gazette JUBAIL — The Royal Commission of Jubail recently received a delegation from Dubai Ports World led by Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, and a number of company officials to recognize industrial achievements and constant developmental projects going on in Jubail Industrial City. The delegation were received at the RC Visitor Center by Abdulaziz N. Atarji, GM of Strategic Planning and Investment Development, along with a number of RC officials and the team were briefed on the successful establishment of Jubail Industrial City and the significant role played by Royal Commission in developing this area which the delegation also regarded as the most determined, organized and most developed industrial city in the world. Presentation on the investment opportunities in Jubail 1 and 2 was highlighted and the panel were given an insight into the city's future plans to expand more of its various provision with regards to health, education, housing and city center for residents of the city. A short tour with the delegation at King Fahd Industrial Port followed after. According to Director General of DP World, huge investment opportunities in petrochemical sector is a source of pride for GCC citizens specifically Jubail Industrial City, which has become one of the most important industrial cities in the world owing to comprehensive and detailed study of the needs of the city. He also pointed out that the existence of two Jubail ports complement to the growing needs and increasing volume of industrial production in the city.
