Making its presence stronger in the city of Hail in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co. (AJVA), the Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer in the Kingdom, opened on Wednesday its state-of-the-art dealership facility here, under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Hail.
The new Ford dealership in Hail brings the total number of main AJVA branches throughout the Kingdom to 22, adding another proof-point for its strong commitment to reach out to customers Kingdom-wide and invest in making the business grow to create jobs.
The opening ceremony was attended by a host of VVIP guests and media people who also attended the official inauguration of the facility on King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz road. The “3S” branch boasts a total of 8,377-square-meter property, housing a 1,137 sqm showroom floor for new cars, a 300 sqm showroom floor for pre-owned cars, in addition to a maintenance facility and service center, a warehouse and staff accommodation.
A state-of-the-art service center sits on a 2,120-sqm land, ensuring maximum space to service vehicles. In the service area, 27 work stations allow for basic repairs, denting and painting jobs. The facility also houses a 184-sqm parts center and warehouse to ensure availability or genuine Ford and Lincoln parts.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Fahad Al Kraidees, president of Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co., said: “Our commitment to Saudi customers is absolute and unwavering. AJVA is driven to develop the Ford business and to deliver some of the highest levels of customer satisfaction across the Kingdom.”
“With the opening of this facility, we bring Ford and Lincoln products and services closer to our customers,” he added. “But our investments don't just stop at new facilities, they extend to offering training to our sales advisors and technicians to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and technology know-how, as well as efficiency in repair works, allowing our customers to save time and money.”
According to Al Kraidees, more facilities are planned to be set up, including showrooms, service centers and parts sales outlets that would add to the growing network of Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co in the Kingdom.
Larry Prein, Ford Middle East's managing director, said: “We congratulate the Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies team for their continued passion for the business as they relentlessly work to deliver some of the best customer experiences to Ford and Lincoln owners in Saudi Arabia. The continued investments in dealership facilities prove AJVA's drive to nurture the growing network and Ford customer-base in the Kingdom and to offer accessible and reliable after-sales support to customers wherever they are.”
Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co currently operates more than 100 outlets and facilities encompassing state-of-the-art showrooms, service centers, vehicle storage centers, parts distribution centers, with over 3,700 employees and a Saudisation rate of 33 percent.
The dealership also owns two of the world's largest Ford showrooms, located in Jeddah and Dammam, as well as the largest parts distribution warehouse among Ford dealers in the Middle East. — SG
