RIYADH — Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson lauded Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, highlighting the Kingdom's rapid transformation and global influence during his speech at the Saudi Media Forum on Wednesday. Johnson commended the Crown Prince for achieving numerous political milestones, describing him as a "brave and successful leader" and emphasizing that Saudi Arabia is fortunate to have strong and decisive leadership. "The Kingdom is witnessing extraordinary changes, and the world has much to learn from it," Johnson remarked, noting the country's ambitious vision for the future. He also praised Saudi Arabia's progress in reducing its reliance on oil, asserting that the Kingdom is on the right path toward economic diversification. Johnson predicted that Saudi Arabia would soon become one of the world's leading tourism destinations, citing its expanding potential and growing global appeal. Addressing the Saudi people, he added, "You should take pride in what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved." The Saudi Media Forum, held from Feb. 19-21, brought together government officials, industry leaders, and media professionals to discuss Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the future of media, and the Kingdom's expanding role on the global stage.
