AL-AIN — President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan welcomed Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman at Qasr Al-Rawdha in Al-Ain on Sunday. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed warmly received the Saudi Crown Prince, describing the UAE as his second home. The two leaders held cordial discussions reflecting the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Their discussions explored the enduring fraternal ties between the two countries and opportunities for further development under their special strategic partnership, according to WAM, the UAE news agency. The two leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening Gulf cooperation, reiterating their shared commitment to advancing joint Gulf efforts and reinforcing the region's security and stability. They also underlined the importance of fostering Arab cooperation in light of the complex challenges facing the region. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Prince Mohammed bin Salman reviewed the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the Middle East. They underscored the need for concerted efforts to maintain regional stability and prevent the region descending into new crises that could threaten its security. On the Palestine issue, the two sides stressed the importance of pursuing a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace based on a two-state solution, ensuring stability and security for all. The Crown Prince conveyed to the UAE president the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his best wishes for the UAE's continued progress and prosperity. He also extended his congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed on the occasion of the UAE's 53rd Eid Al-Etihad, expressing his hopes for further development and success for the UAE and its people. The UAE President hosted a dinner in honor of the Saudi Crown Prince. Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Al-Ain earlier in the day, accompanied by Prince Khalid bin Salman, minister of defense, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, minister of sports.
