RIYADH — The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning about heavy rainfall and the potential for flooding in several regions of Saudi Arabia. Residents are urged to take precautions, avoid areas susceptible to flooding, and adhere to safety guidelines communicated through various media channels. The Makkah region is expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, accompanied by hail and strong winds. Additionally, the Riyadh region is forecasted to receive rainfall ranging from light to heavy. Other areas likely to be affected by significant rainfall include Madinah, Hail, Qassim, the Northern Borders, the Eastern Region, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran, while the Tabuk and Al-Jouf regions may see lighter rainfall. The Civil Defense has emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety and following the instructions given by the authorities during adverse weather conditions.
