HAVANA — Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez received Saudi Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel and his accompanying delegation in Havana on Thursday. The two sides discussed relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in the health sector. They also talked about increasing both bilateral and multilateral health coordination to benefit the interests of their nations and peoples. Al-Jalajel expressed his appreciation for the attention given to the health sector in Cuba and emphasized the importance of supporting shared interests to achieve sustainable development, prosperity, and well-being for both countries and their citizens. Cuban Minister of Public Health Dr. José Ángel Portal Miranda and several other officials also attended the meeting.
