RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) continues its extensive humanitarian efforts by distributing relief aid across several regions. Recently, KSRelief delivered approximately 1,129 food baskets to the districts of Al Ghaydah, Huswein, and Al Masilah in the Yemeni governorate of Al Mahrah. This distribution benefited 7,903 individuals as part of the ongoing food aid project for the affected population in Yemen for 2024. In Shabwa Governorate, KSRelief distributed around 4,158 food baskets across the districts of Ataq, Jardan, Habban, and Rawdah, benefiting 30,562 individuals. This initiative is also part of the 2024 food aid distribution project aimed at supporting affected populations in Yemen. Additionally, the center has continued its support through the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project in Akkar Governorate and Al-Minya District in Lebanon. This project provides 25,000 loaves of bread daily to Syrian and Palestinian families, as well as to the host community in northern Lebanon, benefiting a total of 125,000 individuals. In Sudan, KSRelief distributed 700 food baskets in Kassala State, aiding 4,172 individuals from the neediest families. This effort is part of the second phase of the food security support project in Sudan.
