King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Saturday inaugurated the food security project for 2021-2022 in Al-Mahrah Governorate, Yemen, with the aim of offering food aid in Al-Ghaydah, Haswayn and Al-Masilah districts to benefit 834 Yemeni households. Al-Ghaydah District Director Salem Saidan praised the relief and humanitarian efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, stressing the importance of the project in light of the difficult circumstances that Yemen is going through and the displacement of several families to Al-Mahrah Governorate. The project targets distributing more than 30,000 food baskets in 15 Yemeni governorates over an entire year for the most underprivileged categories in targeted areas.
