RIYADH — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa to discuss the ongoing situation in Palestine and the efforts to support the Palestinian cause. Earlier, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Kingdom's firm stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing the need for the Palestinian people to secure their legitimate rights. The Ministry condemned the crimes committed against the Palestinian people by Israeli occupation forces, criticizing the lack of international accountability and the failure of the Security Council to implement deterrent measures. It highlighted the dire consequences, including the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians, many of whom are women, children, and innocent civilians. Saudi Arabia continues to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza through the popular campaign launched by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSRelief), with donations exceeding $185 million. The Kingdom remains committed to supporting the Palestinian people and has played a significant role in rallying international recognition of Palestine, especially during its chairmanship of the ministerial committee following the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh.
