ISTANBUL — Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met with several officials from Turkish companies specialized in space and defense industries to discuss advanced technical projects, modern products, and future plans and strategies, as he stated on his account on X platform. The Minister also reviewed opportunities for cooperation in the military and defense fields with the Chairman of the Turkish Defense Industries Authority, Professor Haluk Görgün, and heads of several major Turkish industrial companies. Memorandums of understanding were signed between several Saudi and Turkish companies during the visit. Prince Khalid bin Salman arrived in the Turkish capital at the head of a delegation on an official visit under the guidance of the Saudi leadership. The visit aimed to discuss bilateral relations, enhance cooperation between the two countries, and address issues of common interest. On Wednesday, he met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Turkish counterpart, Yaşar Güler, to review aspects of Saudi-Turkish relations and explore ways to strengthen and develop existing and future cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of both countries.
