MANAMA — The Minister of Finance, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, led the Kingdom's delegation today at the preparatory meeting of the Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level for the 33rd Arab Summit, held in Manama. The meeting included representatives from League of Arab States member states and specialists from its general secretariat. Al-Jadaan highlighted Saudi Arabia's honor in hosting the 32nd Regular Session of the Arab Summit, which concluded with the issuance of the Jeddah Declaration. This declaration included initiatives benefiting joint Arab action in economic, agricultural, cultural, and educational fields. He also noted that the previous summit made significant decisions in support of joint Arab action, particularly in achieving the requirements of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA). The preparatory meeting covered various topics related to the economic and social agenda to be presented at the 33rd Arab Summit.
