RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the World Food Programme (WFP) have solidified their commitment to humanitarian aid by signing a $10 million agreement to provide food assistance to those in need in Ukraine. Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of KSrelief, and WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain finalized the deal on Tuesday. The project aims to distribute meals across orphanages, hospitals, and centers for displaced individuals, benefiting approximately 141,000 people from the most vulnerable groups caught in the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts through KSrelief to support global food security and alleviate the hardship of displaced populations and those in dire need, in cooperation with specialized UN agencies.
