RIYADH — The Saudi Contractors Authority is organizing the Fourth International Contracting Conference on February 26-27, 2024 in Riyadh, with the support of the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al-Hogail. This event will take place in conjunction with Big5 Saudi, which aims to attract more than 55,000 visitors. Zakaria Al-Abdulqader, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, stated, "The Kingdom is experiencing unprecedented developments as part of Saudi Vision 2030, and a key aspect of this transformation is achieving a sustainable contracting sector." The conference will focus on showcasing the latest technologies and practices in the contracting sector and facilitating the exchange of experiences among industry leaders and decision-makers. It is considered a unique event in the Kingdom's contracting sector, emphasizing the importance of sustainability and its impact on the environment. Over 25 local and international speakers will present the latest information, experiences, and technologies to more than 55,000 contractors and interested parties. Targeted attendees include general contractors, public and private sector owners, legal and insurance companies, renewable energy firms, project managers, subcontractors, engineering companies, future technology firms, transportation and infrastructure companies, architectural engineering firms, and suppliers. This conference is part of the Saudi Contractors Authority's efforts to organize and develop the contracting sector, build distinctive production competencies, encourage innovation, and enhance communication among all relevant stakeholders. Additionally, it aims to create a safe environment that benefits project owners and the sector's leading contractors.
