Published in The Saudi Gazette on 21 - 01 - 2024

RIYADH — The Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) has been recognized as the third-best workplace across Saudi Arabia for 2023.
This accolade, under the "Best Work Environment" category, was awarded by the "Great Place to Work" Global Authority, a leader in assessing workplace culture.
EXPRO has earned this recognition for two consecutive years, a testament to its commitment to fostering an excellent work environment, enhancing employee experiences, and building a positive internal and external image.
The award was based on comprehensive employee opinion polls and a review of documents showcasing EXPRO's work culture and employee relations approach.
Reem Al Ruhaili, vice president of Human Capital and Academy at EXPRO, expressed pride in this achievement. She emphasized the Authority's focus on human capital and the nurturing of national talent to fulfill EXPRO's objectives.
In 2023, EXPRO provided over 500 training opportunities, including domestic and international programs for its staff.
The Authority successfully qualified 47% of its employees for professional certifications relevant to their fields.
Additionally, over 40 employees attended specialized conferences to learn global best practices.
Leadership development was also a key focus, with more than 70% of EXPRO's leaders participating in executive training programs, resulting in a 92% satisfaction rate.
Al Ruhaili highlighted EXPRO's strategy of creating an ideal work environment that spurs creativity, enhances culture, and boosts productivity and quality, positively impacting the Authority's performance.
She thanked the EXPRO team for their efforts, which were instrumental in achieving this prestigious accreditation.
The "Great Place to Work" Global Authority, headquartered in San Francisco, specializes in evaluating leading work environments and building employee-driven cultures.
Additionally, EXPRO received accreditation from the Amsterdam-based "Top Employers Institute," which assesses human resources practices and policies.
This recognition was based on an on-site review of EXPRO's operations, rewarding their leadership, strategy, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
