AL-RAS — Police have detained two young men for alleged sexual assault of a runaway housemaid. Qassim police spokesman Col. Fahd Al-Habdan said the housemaid ran away from her sponsor's house, when he and his son had left for work in the morning. A young man offered to drive her to her destination. His accomplice followed them, and they headed to a deserted area outside the city, where they sexually assaulted the maid and left the site, leaving the maid behind. She managed to walk back to the city, and notified police. A forensics team examined the site, and a search team focused on two young men who had previous convictions in similar cases. They were brought in, and the maid identified them.
