RIYADH — Saudi Arabia and Indonesia discussed aspects of investment partnership in various fields during the Saudi-Indonesian round-table meeting. The round-table meeting, which was held on Friday in Riyadh, witnessed the presence of Saudi Arabia's Investment Minister Eng. Khalid Al-Falih and Indonesia's Trade Minister, Zulkifli Hasan. The meeting, in addition, was also attended by a number of officials, major companies, and representatives of the private and governmental sectors from the two countries. During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of investment partnership in the fields of energy, health care, food, agriculture, human resources and education, in addition to ways to develop them. The two sides also discussed opportunities to increase investments of Saudi and Indonesian entrepreneurial companies in both countries. The meeting reviewed the available investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, and ways to enhance the efforts to develop investments and economic ties between the two countries. Developing qualitative investment opportunities, as well as enabling the private sector to benefit from them in both countries was also reviewed during the meeting. The Saudi-Indonesian round-table meeting discussed investment partnerships aspects in a number of fields of common interests, and ways to develop them. The round-table meeting witnessed the signing of 2 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of human resources, which aim to consolidate strategic cooperation relations, spread awareness, and exchange experiences. It also aims to provide technical consultations through seminars and conferences that can be held in the two countries.
