RIYADH — Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has started an official visit to Türkiye in order to highlight the services provided by Saudi Arabia to the pilgrims and visitors of the two Holy Mosques. The visit also aims to raise the awareness of Turkish pilgrims on the services provided by the Kingdom to facilitate their arrival procedures to Makkah and Madinah. During the visit, which will last for two days, Dr. Al-Rabiah will meet with a number of Turkish officials and leaders to discuss the facilities provided for the Turkish pilgrims, which comes within the framework of achieving the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The visit, which comes within the framework of the ministry's international communication efforts to build bridges of communication and cooperation with the world's Islamic countries, the minister will introduce the Turkish people to the distinguished services provided by Saudi Arabia's leadership for the visitors of the two Holy Mosques, the historic Islamic sites, and places of historic importance in the Kingdom's regions. It also aims to highlight the pioneering initiatives in developing the Umrah system through the Nusuk e-platform in facilitating the procedures for Makkah and Madinah visitors, in addition to letting them benefit from the available programs, as well as enriching their experience before their arrival in Saudi Arabia and after their departure. The Saudi minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation of officials, partners of the Hajj and Umrah system, and representatives of the private sector, in addition to the relevant authorities serving the pilgrims.
