RIYADH — Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has started an official visit to Morocco and Tunisia with the aim of facilitating arrival procedures of pilgrims and visitors from the two North African countries to Saudi Arabia. The minister is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with a number of officials and relevant authorities. Dr. Al-Rabiah will also launch the Nusuk platform exhibition, in addition to inaugurating the Visa Services Center (Tasheer), which aims to facilitate the procedures of issuing visas, and reduce the time required to complete the procedures. This comes within the ministry's continuing efforts to increase the quality of the services provided to the pilgrims and to enrich their religious experience. It also comes within the efforts of international communication to to build bridges with the Islamic world, and to introduce distinguished services and facilities that Saudi Arabia provides for the pilgrims who visit the Kingdom with the purpose of performing Umrah, or to visit the Two Holy Mosques, historic and Islamic locations, and different regions in the country. The minister's visit will shed light on the pioneer initiatives in developing the Umrah systems through the Nusuk platform and its services.
