RIYADH — Seychelles' Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvestre Radegonde has confirmed his country's support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh. Radegonde made the remarks during a press conference after a meeting by the Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court, Ahmed Kattan, with the President of Seychelles Wavel Ramkalawan. Radegonde also welcomed Saudi Arabia as the host of the first Saudi-African Summit and the 5th Arab-African Summit in Riyadh this year. For his part, Kattan expressed Saudi Arabia's appreciation for Seychelles' support which he said translates the distinguished relationship between the two countries. Kattan also reviewed with Radegonde the relations of friendship and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Seychelles, and discussed ways of strengthening aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and the means to support and develop them.
