Royal Court Advisor Ahmed Kattan, who is on a visit to Congo-Brazzaville, has conveyed a verbal message from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to President of Congo-Brazzaville Denis Sassou Nguesso concerning bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation. Received by Nguesso on Wednesday in the Congolese capital, Kattan conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the president, government and people of Congo-Brazzaville. Nguesso, in turn, sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the government and people of Saudi Arabia, and said his country supports the Kingdom's bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh. He also welcomed the First Saudi-African and Fifth Arab-African summits that will be held in Saudi Arabia later this year. Kattan conveyed the Saudi government's thanks for this support, which stems from the distinguished relations between the two countries. The two sides reviewed regional and international issues of common concern. — SPA
