TAIF — The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with its Syrian counterpart. The MoU was signed by Yasser Al-Misehal, president of SAFF, and his Syrian counterpart Salahalddin Ramadan in the presence of Abdularahman Al-Khateeb, Vice President of the Syrian Football Federation. The signing took place on the sidelines of the 77th session of the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), which was held in Taif. Al-Misehal and Ramadan discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the Saudi and Syrian federations during the upcoming period in a way that serves Arab and Asian football. The move comes within the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's efforts to strengthen cooperation with different countries.
