Eid Al-Adha prayer directed to be held in all mosques, but with exceptions

RIYADH — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh directed all the Ministry's branches throughout Saudi Arabia's regions to hold Eid Al-Adha prayers in all mosques and prayer areas.
The minister said that mosques or places of prayer that are excluded from this directive are those where worshipers do not go to during the Eid prayer in some centers and rural areas, because they go to certain prayer places they have that they go to constantly.
The directive included holding Eid A-Adha prayers 15 minutes after sunrise.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court announced on Sunday that Monday 1/12/1444 AH — according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar — corresponding to the 19th of June, 2023, AD, is the beginning of the Dhul-Hijjah month.
This means Arafat Day will be on Tuesday, June 27, and Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) announced earlier that there will be 4-day Eid Al-Adha holidays for the workers in the private and non-profit sectors.
The Ministry said in a statement on its Twitter account that the Eid Al-Adha holidays for the two sectors will begin on Tuesday, the Day of Standing in Arafat on 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to June 27, and will end on Friday, 12 Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to June 30.
The cases of overlap stipulated in Article 24 of the Executive Regulations of the Labour Law will be taken into consideration, the Ministry said in the tweet.
