RIYADH — A third Saudi relief plane left King Khalid International in Riyadh on Saturday's morning carrying 30 tons of the Kingdom's aid to the Ukrainian people. The plane is heading to the Polish Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport, close to the Ukrainian borders. The aid plane included shelter materials, electric generators, and medical supplies. Aid will be delivered to the Ukrainian people across the Polish border into Ukraine. It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement and a MoU to provide additional humanitarian assistance to Ukraine worth $400 million, as it includes offering humanitarian aid from the Kingdom to Ukraine amounting to $100 million. Saudi Arabia has also provided earlier urgent medical and shelter aid worth $10 million to refugees from Ukraine to neighboring countries, including Poland, and that in coordination with the Polish government and the United Nations organizations.
